Eileen Prasad (Registered Clinical Counsellor)
I support children using play-based and developmentally responsive approaches, creating a safe and engaging space where they can express themselves and build emotional understanding. I help children develop emotional regulation skills while also supporting co-regulation through connection and attuned responses. My work is grounded in a strength-based and solution-focused perspective, helping children build confidence, coping skills, and a sense of security. I also have over 20 years of experience in the school system supporting children with neurodiverse needs, which informs my approach to meeting each child where they are.
I also work with teens and adults navigating emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, life transitions, and questions of cultural identity and belonging. My approach is strength-based, trauma-informed, and solution-focused, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), somatic techniques, and other tailored approaches. I strive to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and supported in your growth.
